  • Why should I consider an aftermarket turbocharger instead of an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) turbocharger?

    OEM turbochargers are manufactured by companies such as BorgWarner that also manufacture aftermarket versions of many of these same turbochargers. Even though these aftermarket turbochargers are of equal quality and carry the same warranty, they are often less expensive than those sold by original equipment dealers.

  • Is a remanufactured turbocharger as good as a new one?

    They can be. Rebuilt turbochargers from Turbo Diesel of Oklahoma are rebuilt according to the original factory standards and carry the same warranty as a new unit.

  • Can you rebuild my old turbocharger?

    Many turbochargers can be rebuilt. Bring in your old unit, and we will examine it free of charge to determine if it is more feasible and cost-effective to rebuild your unit or exchange it for a new or rebuilt one.

  • Can you rebuild my fuel pump and injectors as well?

    Many fuel pumps and injectors can be rebuilt as well. Bring these in and we will examine them to determine whether rebuilding or exchanging is the most cost-effective solution for you.

  • Are all aftermarket turbochargers of equal quality?

    No. While aftermarket turbochargers from companies such as BorgWarner are of equal quality to OEM turbochargers, there are companies that produce and market inferior quality turbochargers. It is important to know that the remanufactured turbocharger being considered has been rebuilt by a quality manufacturer.

  • What about my fan drive? Can you rebuild it?

    Horton and Kysor fan drives can be rebuilt. Bring in your fan drive and we will examine it free of charge to determine if it can be rebuilt or if an exchange or new unit would be more cost-effective.
